2017 Summer Camps

Does your son or daughter have a passion for horses? Why not let them experience that dream at one of our camp programs. Camps are designed with your child’s riding experience in mind. Children ages 7 and above are welcome to enroll in our camp programs!

These one-week  camps are designed with your students riding ability, interests, and goals in mind. The program is based on the students enrolled in each camp so that specific skills can be taught or mastered. If you have any question as to which level your child should register for, please speak with one of our instructors.

Campers will enjoy approximately 2 hours of daily instructed riding. They will also learn elements of several riding disciplines and the responsibilities of horse ownership by participating in:

  • Daily horse care
  • Feeding
  • Grooming
  • Grazing
  • Equine First Aid

Campers will also participate in:

  • Fun mounted games
  • Crafts
  • Team-building games
  • Fellowship
  • Summer Camp Horse Show including Ribbons!
(Families are encouraged to stay for the Friday Show!)

All while making new friends and having fun!

Walk-Trot Camp

Walk-Trot Camp is a great way to introduce your child to horsemanship for the first time and prepare them for our schooling program. This camp is is geared to those who students who have never ridden and/or current HH students who are not cantering independently.

Intermediate & Advanced Camps

Intermediate and Advanced Camps are designed for students with more experience. Placement is determined by Heavenly Horses staff and will be grouped by strengths/skills. Camp plans will be based on the students enrolled and will cater whenever possible to their specific needs and requests.

If you are not a current HH student and would like to ride in an Intermediate or Advanced Camp, you must schedule and complete and 15- minute evaluation ride no less than two weeks in advance of the camp. A nominal $10 fee is assessed for placement.
