I am a 2007 home school graduate, and I am currently attending Trinity International University for my BS in biology. I have been working at Heavenly Horses since June 2010. Prior to working here at Heavenly Horses, I volunteered for two and a half years at Partners for Progress, a therapeutic horseback riding program for kids (and adults) affected with disabilities, which met at Fields and Fences in Gurnee. Although I have always had a passion for horses, I hadn’t been able to afford lessons until the summer
of 2010. In October of 2010 I participated in my first show, a speed show at the Spring Grove Horse Show, and I plan on doing many more in the coming years. I love all of the horses at the barn like they are family, and I’ve built a strong friendship with Reignczeck, our 16 year old Polish Arabian. I have really enjoyed working and riding at Heavenly Horses, and hope to be working here giving lessons and working at summer camps for years to come.
